Rapid Metal Finishing has been locally servicing clientel since 1969. What started off as a small Scarborough based company, has now expanded to provide a large base of services for clients all over Southern Ontario.
Rapids current owners; Jon and Paul Matthews have been operating Rapid Metal Finishing since 2001.

John Matthews has always had a passion for metals and the tool and die trade. Jon studied tool and die making at Durham College before striking out into the business world. Jon honed his trade at various tool and die shops, eagerly awaiting the day to become a business owner himself. Upon hearing of the sale of Rapid Metal Finishing, himself, and his father Paul joined forces to purchase the company, and elevate it to the standards it exemplifies today. |

Paul Matthews is no stranger to the Manufacturing business. Originally from New Bruinswick, Paul has worked in various industries, that include an inspector for Collins Radio, Point Lepreau nuclear as well as Darlington and Pickering nuclear plants. His diligent work ethic and continual passion for quality control escalates the service Rapid provides over any competition. |
